Sewn on three sewing supports constructed with purple stingray skin lined with goat vellum.
Silk front bead headbands sewn over cores of alum tawed pigskin.
Boards fabricated from aircraft plywood, and lined with copper sheet using epoxy.
Spine piece fabricated of Tyvek lined with goatskin.
The mother-of-pearl cabochons were attached with brass screws.
The binding is housed in a single tray enclosure with bone clasps.
