A Catalogue of the First Exhibition of Paintings, in the Athenaeum Gallery, Boston, 1827.

This paper-bound booklet with stab sewing had loose covers with extensive damage around the edges.

The covers were humidified and flattened, then lined with long-fibered kozo tissue. To re-create the original paper binding, the new linings on the front andback covers were adhered onto the spine of the textblock.
