James Reid-Cunningham, [perimeter fence], 2003.

[perimeter fence] is a photoessay in miniature format,
exploring change, light, pattern and duration in urban settings.

[perimeter fence] was created in the autumn of 2003 with QuarkXPress,
utilizing digital photographs taken in Cardiff, Gloucester and London in June 2001.

The book was printed on Southworth 36 lb. Photo Quality Paper
using an Epson 760 ink jet printer.

The typeface is Skia.

Published in an edition of 20, with all sheets loose in a matchbox style enclosure.

Sewn in a long stitch through a kid vellum spine using linen thread colored with acrylics.
Sewing incorporates bent brass rods as stiffeners.
Kid vellum spine inserted between double red and blue goatskin boards.
Circular onlays of: gold, silver and copper kidskin;
pink and magenta kidskin; green goatskin; blue calfskin; white box calf.
Clamshell box.
