Ralentir Travaux is a Babel Fish translation of Eluard’s 1930 prose introduction to a book of collaborative poems composed by Eluard, Andre Breton and Rene Char. Eluard's text examines the role of the artist in the modern world.

The accordion textblock was folded and trimmed at the head and tail.
A bonnet was constructed from black TyvekŪ.
The boards were covered individually with black goatskin, and decorated with feathered onlays of goatskin and kidskin.
The binding was titled in gold.

9/16” x 9/16” x 3/16.” 1.5 x 1.5 x .5 cm.

Bound in 2018.
