The cover is a laminate of three layers of black Tyvek®.
The cover was pierced with hole punches and titled in silver foil.
The closure is 12/3 linen thread with a button of laminated magenta kidskin and vellum.
The volume was sewn with 12/3 linen thread on split thongs of alum-tawed pigskin.
The binding was signed in silver foil on the inside back cover.

The structure is based on an exemplar in Szirmai’s Archaeology of Medieval Bookbinding, 1999, p. 296.
