Unique book sculpture.
Constructed from seven single bifolios of India Office paper made by Griffen Mill.
Line drawings executed with red and black .03 Pigma pens.
Holes were punched in the leaves.
The title and author and date were stamped on the front leaf using metallic green foil.
Alum-tawed calfskin backplate, with the sections sewn individually using linen cord.
The backplate extends to form a clasp around the textblock, with rare earth magnets sandwiched between panels of board covered in copper colored metallic Japanese paper.
10 ¼” x 3 x 1 ¼”. 26 x 7.6 x 4.5 cm.
